Brian Walker.

Hope and change in action.

You came here for a reason.

You’ve got plenty of other things to be fighting for, so thank you for taking the time to read more about me, and what we’re trying to do on this campaign.

31A is a changing district. Not only do we have new neighbors joining us through development and growth, but there are a lot of people here like me. People who were once Republicans, but saw what was happening in and around the party and said “enough is enough.” We believe that women have a right to choose. That even as gun owners, the second amendment cannot exist without limits. That public education is the cornerstone of our society and needs an incredible amount of support. And that love is love.

These aren’t controversial. These are table-stakes, good human beliefs and why I believe the DFL is the right party for me, and so many others these days.

Sadly, our current Representative is the Republican Leader Harry Niska. He’d rather spend his time courting the caucus than focusing on his home town. We’ve got real issues to solve here around transportation, clean water, and plenty of non-partisan boring things that get tied up in politics.

I’m tired of it, and I hope you are too. But I need your support. If you can chip in, put a sign in your lawn, or heck just tell a friend. This is a monumental challenge we’ve got in front of us and every little bit helps.

Change is OK. What’s happening in St. Paul is not.

It’s time to make government boring again, and do the work that needs to be done. We need more folks with good boots, and less cheap suits in the house.

Stay Connected

This campaign is not a single moment, website, or flyer. It’s a conversation. Subscribe to our emails (and reply!), volunteer to help, host a sign in your yard. Heck, we’ll take every dollar folks can spare.

It’s a monumental task in front of us, but the journey is worth it. We’d love your help and to stay connected.
