Brian Walker.

People, not the party.

You came here for a reason.

Maybe you’re tired of being taken for granted. Maybe you watched January 6th and thought “this isn’t right, it’s not who we are”, too. Maybe you just want someone to show up and ask what you need. Whatever brought you here, you’re in the right place.

Two former opponents. One District.

Back in 2020, Brian ran for city council in Ramsey against Matt Woestehoff. Brian lost by less than 40 votes, but they kept in touch. Instead of staying rivals, they’ve decided this district matters more than a fight. That’s who’s running, and who is helping on this campaign. And that’s the kind of politics that Brian Walker believes in. Doing the work to get work done. The job of keeping government boring but impactful, not grandiose and meaningless.

Where He Stands

  • Andover has had a drinking water problem. Ramsey just spent $37m on a new water treatment facility. These issues aren’t abstract, they’re in our tap and our property values. He’ll fight to make sure we get the resources available, and attention we deserve.

  • Safe neighborhoods start with neighbors who know each other and a representative who’s actually present. Brian has been involved. From attending Planning Commission, Parks and Recreations Board meetings, to providing public input at city council meetings. Brian helps make residents voices heard. And listening is a key function of any conflict resolution.

  • Spend what we have on what we need. No caucus games, no performance politics. Accountable government that treats your tax dollar like an investment - because it is. We deserve that level of attention and care.

  • Our current representative’s first job seems to be managing the Republican caucus. Brian’s first would be you. Every vote, every session, every time. That’s representation, not politics. And we could use some old fashioned boring government these days.

31A has been managed from St. Paul for too long.

We’re not asking you to change who you are. We’re asking you to take a closer look at who is actually showing up for Ramsey and Andover in the House.
